Provides administrative support by conducting research, preparing reports, handling requests for information, receiving visitors, preparing travel schedules, arranging calls and scheduling meetings. Supports a medium to large team or a senior level manager. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative services to the health and safety team in accordance with applicable organizational policies and practices
- Assist HSE Team to make improvements and implement required changes
- Assist HSE Team to liaise with external agencies relation to health and safety matters
- Achieve agreed personal targets and assist Manager to achieve team targets
- Ensure compliance to applicable codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organization and/or its clients/customers to Manager
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Interact and co-operate with all members of the organization, its suppliers and clients/customers
- Proficient in managing pre-qualification registries (ISNetworld, Avetta, CQ Network, CanQual)
- Distribute Alcohol & Drug results as required
- Assist with development of monthly safety meetings
- Update HSE Manual as required
- Order various forms as required
- Point of contact for all Canadian branches in regard to HSE Manual
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 3 - 5 Years ’ experience in similar role (preferred)
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety/OH&S
- HSA designation (preferred)
- Experience with systems administration
- “ Attention to Detail”
- Sound communication skills
- Computer literate, proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Time management skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of management and safety professionals
