**We’re on the hunt for an elite financial leader to bring structure, insight, and clarity to our growing operation.**
This is a hands-on, full-spectrum finance role with real impact, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work directly with ownership. As our **Controller**, you’ll oversee all day-to-day accounting operations and serve as the financial backbone of the business, helping drive smarter decisions across manufacturing, sales, and operations.
This is not a junior accounting job. We're looking for someone with **5-7+ years of experience** in a printing or manufacturing environment, who can manage a small team, improve systems, and ensure strong internal controls. This is an amazing opportunity to work directly with ownership and have a voice in shaping the company’s future.

**What we're looking for**:

- 5-7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (manufacturing and inventory environments preferred)
- CPA designation is a strong asset (or equivalent experience)
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and compliance (federal and provincial)
- Experience with inventory costing, BOMs, and production workflow
- Previous exposure to DTC or B2C businesses is a plus
- Experience in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Advanced Excel skills (yes, we mean pivot tables and financial modelling)
- Leadership mindset with the ability to manage junior staff and work cross-functionally with senior leadership
- Must be able to work on-site at our Aurora headquarters

**What your day-to-day will look like**:

- **Manage the full accounting cycle**: AP/AR, payroll, invoicing, bank recs, reconciliations
- **Monthly reporting**: Prepare accurate financial statements and performance dashboards
- **Budgeting & forecasting**: Own the process and support operational decision-making
- **Compliance & filings**: Stay on top of CRA requirements and ensure everything’s clean and on time
- **Cost analysis**: Work with production and sales to understand margins, drivers, and profitability
- **Internal controls**: Identify risk, implement controls, and protect the company’s financial health
- **System improvement**: Streamline processes, support ERP rollouts, and optimize workflows
- **Team leadership**: Supervise bookkeeping/admin staff and liaise with external accountants
- **Ownership support**: Work directly with ownership to provide financial clarity and strategic input

**Compensation**:

- Competitive base salary (C$64k-95k based on experience)
- Annual performance-based bonus
