SALES ASSISTANT

The Sales Assistant is primarily responsible for providing support to the sales team.

Duties include but not limited to; supporting the sales team in prospecting, following up on leads, assisting customers with sales inquiries, filling out request forms, preparing pricing and assisting with administrative duties. **This part time (20 hours per week) term position will start January 2025 and end June 2025 with the possibility of extending.**

**This role requires**:

- Completion of a post-secondary certificate/diploma or working towards post-secondary certificate/diploma in a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experience working in a business environment is an asset.
- Proactive problem solver, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Superior telephone etiquette required
- Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapt to change and work under pressure.
- Occasional travel may be required to assist with tradeshows / sales activities.
