**Description**:
**Position Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing of maintenance related spare parts inventory, consumables and services.
- Manage spare parts inventory to minimize cycle count deficiencies
- Follow-up on all delinquent purchase orders with suppliers and research alternate parts
- Manage parts receiving and put away as well as issue out of inventory to work orders
- Provide monthly reports on inventory value, and cycle counts and adjustments
- Understand and practice all Health and Safety policies
- Manage the activities of the stock room coordinator
- Provide feedback to Corporate purchasing on vendor satisfaction levels.
- Procure from approved vendors
- Strong knowledge of MRO parts and management of stock rooms
- Ability to quickly learn Oracle and associated indirect procurement module.
- Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements

**Position Requirements**:
**EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & WORK EXPERIENCE**:

- 5-6 years experience of MRO buying
- College diploma in purchasing/inventory management graduate considered an asset
- Proficient in usage of computers, preferably Oracle maintenance
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional ability to organize work
- Good understanding of food processing and regulatory requirements
- Work under pressure and meet various deadline
