Seating & Mobility Specialist, Hauser’s Home Healthcare

RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Promotion of Hauser’s Home Healthcare brand, sales of equipment, and services through the personalized and professional advice, information, and consultation to individuals, groups and institutions.
- Develop and manage relationships, as well as maintain contact with, health care professionals to promote sales of the company’s products.
- Provide detailed information on new or existing products and services. When required demonstrations and presentations.
- Prepare quotations on products and services as required.
- Interact with clients and family members to provide consultative services on the use, maintenance, and demonstration of equipment and services.
- Provide consultation in the areas of customization, complex products and therapeutic appropriateness in relation to equipment, including but not limited to the measurement of equipment.
- Attend workshop/education sessions to ensure product knowledge is current.
- Attend conferences and exhibits to promote the company’s products and services and to provide information to interested parties.
- Be accountable for all stock equipment that is on loan and for the maintenance and security of equipment used for demonstration.
- Be accountable for outstanding A/R

SKILLS:

- Excellent work ethic and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including relationship management.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Commitment to providing best in class customer service
- Good communication/presentation skills to instruct individuals and groups on the use, maintenance and servicing of equipment.
- Ability to assess the best product and advocate for the client where required.
- Identify health care professionals and organizations outside of known contacts, to establish new markets and provide support for ongoing operations.
- Completing sale or rental transactions including managing length of evaluation period, discounts offered on pricing and adhering to company policies of pricing.
- Willingness to adapt to new sales methods and participating in their development.
- Sound ethical judgement.
- A proven, thorough knowledge of various products and services available.
- Knowledge of various disabilities and their functional limitation.
- Ability to lift 60lbs.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Previous experience in the mobility and rehabilitation profession / industry an asset
- 2-5 years previous sales experience
- College or University degree in a related discipline.
