Cloverdale Paint is seeking an ambitious individual for a **Sundry Category Manager **position for our procurement team at Head Office in Surrey, BC.
This individual will be responsible for negotiating terms and conditions pertaining to the procurement of Sundry, Resale Paint, Industrial Sundry, Sales Aid & Store Supply, Wallpaper, Equipment and Powder Coating products for company branches and warehouses.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee and assist to ensure inventory replenishment orders are placed in a timely manner for warehouses.
- Oversee and assist with placing of all store direct orders.
- Review and maintain Min/Max for all warehouses on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and coordinate Probuy and Hot Buy Flyers including communication with branches, placing promotional orders.
- Ensure all pricing is maintained in POS system.
- Ensure all BSC changes are submitted to the pricing department and Sales Managers.
- Assist with year-end inventory count of Sundry, Resale Paint and Industrial Sundry products including reconciling differences at warehouses. Assist with physical count as required.
- Assist with selection of new products including holding vendor meetings, obtaining pricing and product information, requesting samples, product testing.
- Report and document all PIR’s for Resale Paint products as required.
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships across all levels of the company.
- Negotiate pricing and develop strategic supply agreements with vendors.
- Responsible for leading and managing of the Procurement Department staff related to the Sundry category.
- Liaise with Cloverdale Paint’s custom broker on cross border entry related questions.
- Branch Customer Service_
- Communicate with branches regarding the selection, pricing and promotion of all Sundry, Resale Paint and Industrial Sundry products, including: Probuys, Sundry Bulletins, price changes and change of status, booking orders, etc.
- Ensure that all invoicing errors raised by Procurement Department are remedied by the A/P Department.
- Administration_
- Participate as a member of the Sundry & Resale Paint Committee and Industrial Sundry Committee.
- Liaise with the Inventory, Marketing, Training and Pricing Managers to assist in meeting corporate goals.
- Present information on Sundry/Resale Paint Programs at Regional Meetings and Management Readiness Events as required.
- Oversee and assist with creation and maintenance of SKUs in the ERP system.
- Maintain perpetual inventory records in BTRAC.
- Oversee coordination of all back-order reports with vendors to ensure we are meeting service targets.
- Meet annual KPIs as set out by the Procurement Director
- Prepare regular reports as required by management.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Sundry, Resale Paint, Industrial Sundry, Wallpaper, Equipment products.
- Excellent understanding of Cloverdale Paint’s ERP system and an aptitude for working through ERP issues.
- Proven ability to lead a successful team and possess strong leadership skills.
- Post-secondary education or a designation in Supply Chain Management considered an asset.
- Working experience with MS Office, including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Strong facility with numbers, forecasting, and trend analysis.
- Able to multi-task and adjust workload based on priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail oriented and disciplined with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with purchasing and inventory management procedures.
- Possess a high degree of awareness for supply chain risk analysis and forecasting.
