Ritz Plastics Inc. is currently looking to add a Setup to our growing team The Setup is responsible for the safe, productive, and effective setup/start-up of moulds, equipment and machinery to ensure products and process are within established standards. The Setup is also responsible, along with the supervisor, for process adjustments and remedying typical issues to ensure products and processes are with established standards.

**Responsibilities include**:

- The Setup of injection mold, equipment, machinery, automation, tooling and other items according to established standards
- Diagnosing and remedying of typical machinery, material, equipment and tooling issues.
- Safe and proper handling and storage of moulds, tools and equipment.
- Process and equipment adjustments to ensure product and processes are within established specifications.
- Notifying supervisor and Quality department of non-conforming products and processes.
- Maintaining good housekeeping of work areas and facility
- Accurate completion of production and quality control records.
- Safe operation of lift trucks, including refueling.
- Accurate recording of necessary process information.
- Participating in training/cross training.
- Communicating with Supervisor, QA, and other employees regarding production, quality or operational issues..
- Startup/Shutdown of machinery and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

**Qualifications include**:

- Strong knowledge of materials, machinery, moulds, etc.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Excellent decision making, judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple workstations in a quality sensitive environment.
- Strong knowledge of tools, fixtures and equipment.
- Ability to follow rules, regulations and procedures.
- Must maintain operational competency of lift trucks, crane, and other tools and equipment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Fast paced, factory floor environment.
- Working around and with material handling equipment such as lift trucks, crane, pallet trucks, carts, etc.
- Working with propane, batteries, paints, cleaners and other maintenance fluids.
- Working around and with machinery, equipment, material, tools, inspection and poke yoke fixtures.
- Wearing of safety equipment such as safety shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, etc.
- Shiftwork as scheduled, overtime as required.
