Our dedication to maintaining these values has elevated our Primegrip and Prime-Lite brand of products from humble beginnings to the forefront of the industry. **Key Responsibilities** - **Financial Reporting**: Assist in document preparation for year-end financial reports. Monthly/quarterly may become a regular responsibility. - **Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile 6+ bank statements on a monthly basis. - **Posting Transactions**: Accurately post transactions from bank statements and maintain records. - **Payroll Reconciliation**: Assist with payroll tax, CPP, EI reconciliations, to ensure compliance with CRA regulations. - **GL Account Reconciliation**: Perform regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts. - **Accounts Payable (A/P) Management**: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely payment schedules. Review outstanding AP (120+ days) monthly. - **Accounts Receivable (A/R) Management**: Clear AR payments received and review outstanding AR (120+ days) monthly. - **Credit Card Statement Preparation**: Assist in preparing monthly credit card statements. - **GST/Duty Reconciliation & Payment**: Handle reconciliation and timely payment of duties and taxes. - **Government Payments**: Manage EHT, WSIB, and corporate tax payments. - **GST/HST Filing**: File GST/HST returns accurately and on time. - **Other Projects**: Occasionally assist in interdepartmental projects. **Qualifications** - Enrolled in or completed an accounting, finance, or business program. - 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes. - Experience with payroll tax filings and government remittances (EHT, WSIB, GST/HST). - Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage). - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Job Type**: Contract
