**Posting period**:

**Responsibilities**
- Maintains and operates water features, including pools, fountains and spray pads as well as related mechanisms and equipment.
- Monitors aquatic facility equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning, using a control check sheet.
- Tests water to ensure adherence to health and other government regulations.
- Tests, calibrates and/or replaces chemical monitoring probes.
- Monitors and repairs diving boards and deck equipment.
- Troubleshoots and assesses equipment and building needs, repairs and/or reports problems that requires expertise to lead hand or Supervisor.
- Writes daily reports to track maintenance activities and purchases.
- Performs security functions, including arming and disarming alarms and ensuring external doors are locked.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Valid MTO Class G Driver’s License in good standing and ability to provide Drivers Abstract at your own expense as a condition of employment.
- CPO certified with one year’s related working experience.
- Knowledge of Health Protection and Promotion Act Regulation 565 for public pools and Amusement Devices Act for Waterslides.
- Good verbal communication skills in order to work and communicate effectively with the public and other staff members in a polite and personable manner.
- Able to keep accurate written records.
- Must be able to work independently and with others in a team environment.
- Must have the ability to support and project values compatible with the organization
- Reliable with a good attitude and employment record.
