**Company Overview**

Quality Paving 1994 Limited is an asphalt paving company servicing KW, Cambridge, Brantford and surrounding areas.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the Field Supervisor and staff to meet work contract deadlines and coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
- Perform on-site job duties along with your crew members; setting up grades, preparing areas, milling, raking, luting, rolling and general labour
- Operate machinery and equipment; perform repair work as required and have a strong familiarity with the safe operation of different heavy equipment
- Perform all duties in compliance with safe work practices, policies, procedures and government regulations
- A willingness to make changes to achieve improvements
- All other duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- Documentation knowledge of: driver logs; pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintenance and repair reports; and trip reports.
- Ability to follow safe working procedures.
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work both independently and with little supervision.
- Carry and use a smart phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting

Work will be Monday to Friday, with weekend dates when needed (not often)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kitchener, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
