**Responsibilities**:

- **Monitor and patrol** the interior and exterior of the warehouse premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- **Conduct regular inspections** of all entry points, doors, windows, and loading docks to ensure they are properly secured.
- **Ensure compliance** with company policies and safety protocols, including monitoring for any violations or irregularities.
- **Operate and maintain security equipment** such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- **Respond to alarms** and investigate suspicious activity or potential threats to the security of the premises.
- **Control access** to the warehouse by checking the credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors, and issuing visitor passes as needed.
- **Document and report incidents,** including theft, vandalism, safety hazards, and any breaches of security, ensuring detailed and accurate records are kept.
- **Assist in emergency situations** such as fire, medical emergencies, or other safety incidents by following established procedures and coordinating with emergency personnel.
- **Perform periodic checks** of the warehouse for unsafe conditions, hazardous materials, and potential security vulnerabilities.
- **Collaborate with warehouse staff** to ensure the safe storage of goods, ensuring the security of high-value or sensitive items.
- **Enforce safety and health protocols** within the warehouse environment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- **Assist with inventory control** by monitoring the movement of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation and securing of goods during transit.
- **Provide customer service** by responding to inquiries from warehouse staff, vendors, or visitors regarding security-related matters.
- **Conduct regular security training** for warehouse personnel to ensure awareness of security protocols and emergency procedures

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum of a High school diploma** or equivalent is a must
- **Exceptional Attention to detail** with the ability to spot security risks or safety hazards
- **Strong conflict resolution skills** and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and poise.
- **Technologically Savvy,** skills for reporting and communication are important.
- **Ability to work in a physically demanding environment**, including lifting up to 50 lbs and walking, standing, or patrolling for long periods
- **Previous experience** in security, military, law enforcement or customer service is a plus but not required.
- **Fluency in another language** is an asset (Punjabi or Hindi)
- **Bilingual** in **Punjabi, Hindi**, or other languages is a significant advantage, enhancing communication with a diverse team.
- **Proven reliability and punctuality**, with the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures.
- **Willingness to work flexible hours**, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- **Ability to adapt quickly** in fast-paced or changing environments while maintaining focus on security goals

**Working Conditions**:

- **Work Environment**: The role is primarily performed on-site at the warehouse facility. Our Officers will be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions, including varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards typical of warehouse environment.
- **Physical Demands**: The position requires long hours of standing, walking, and patrolling. Officers may be required to lift or carry up to 50 lbs during security checks or emergency responses.
- **Shift Flexibility**: If hired, you must be available to work on a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary depending on the needs of the business and security requirements.
- **Weather Exposure**: Officers may need to patrol both indoor and outdoor areas, which could involve exposure to different weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.)
- **Alertness and Stamina**: The role demands high levels of focus and vigilance, with the ability to stay alert for long periods, particularly during overnight shifts.
