Raffle Nexus is a software company that facilitates 50/50 raffles and lotteries for charitable gaming fundraisers. Our purpose is to assist non-profit and charitable organizations to make a positive impact on their chosen cause.

A Security and System Administrator is responsible for overseeing the ongoing operations of the Raffle Nexus servers and networks, ensuring consistency and mínimal interruptions, immediate response to issues and breakdowns, account set up, training, and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure smooth functioning of servers and networks, maintaining essential IT infrastructure
- Immediate response for server and network issues and malfunctions
- Security of data
- Creation of new accounts, permissions, and passwords for staff
- Develop and implement network maintenance standard operating procedures and policies
- Ensure security firewalls are updated regularly
- Implement new software and hardware as needed
- Deliver internal security training as needed
- Take a leading role in achieving SOC2 report and establishing required policies and procedures as they relate to this report
- Assist with PCI Compliance
- Assist in the development of overall IT strategy
- Ongoing Analysis of possible threats or errors
- Work with CTO to create disaster recovery plan

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of proven success in an IT role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology or computer science
- Previous experience with taking a software company through achieving a SOC2 report a strong asset
- Excellent understanding of computer, network, and security systems
- Excellent training and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay in touch with current industry trends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
