**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of premises.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to identify potential security risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required and provide assistance during emergencies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
- Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff, clients, and law enforcement personnel.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
