Restoration Project Manager

**Summary**

This position is critical for providing superior customer service by properly scheduling and allocating resources to meet or exceed their expectations. Profitability of individual projects is a direct accountability for this role and is a major factor in the overall success of the operation.

**Major Duties**
- Scope and estimate losses in accordance with accepted construction and insurer practices.
- Prepare emergency work orders as required for field staff.
- Produce estimates and updates in accordance with customer standards.
- Review daily mail folder and approve invoices correlated to specific jobs.
- Communicate with other PMs to ensure major issues are resolved in a team environment.
- Assist other PMs as required, in order to share technical expertise or resources.
- Communicate customer expectations to field staff on an ongoing basis.
- Actively participate in PM meetings.
- Assist the GM and Owner with staff training and development.
- Maintain procedures and practices to ensure that workers can carry out safe and healthy work.
- Ensure that workers comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, applicable regulations, and the company’s policy and program.
- Handle and resolve customer issues expeditiously on his/her files or assist with others.
- Support the administration staff in delivering superior customer service.
- Available for inclusion in the after hours rotation.
- Advise the GM or Owner of any variances to our normal processes and procedures.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improved service and efficiency.

**Experience/Skills/Attributes Required**
- Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
- Working knowledge of the Health and Safety Code with WHMIS certification.
- Valid Class G or higher driver’s license.
- IICRC certified or working towards (minimum WRT, ASD, AMRT) an asset.
- Working knowledge of Xactimate, MS Outlook and MS Word.
- Superior time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A passion for customer service and process improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
