**In this role you will**:

- Support and coach a team of experienced STD, LTD and Critical Illness Case Managers, Rehabilitation Specialists and Administrative Professionals
- Ensure quality and service delivery metrics are adhered to, and report on such metrics
- Manage customer and client escalations in efficient, professional manner
- Manage day to day operations of Disability and Critical Illness claims team
- Assess and evolve claim processes to continually improve customer experience
- Liaise with Employers, Insurance Carriers and medical practitioners when necessary
- Work closely with internal RWAM teams to ensure a seamless end to end customer experience

**For this role you need**:

- Experience and passion for mentoring and coaching a team
- 3-5 years of related experience managing STD and LTD claims
- Strong communication skills - You are an active listener with the ability to overcome difficult situations and conversations
- The ability to consider complex claims, medical details and contractual language
- A post-secondary degree, and/or healthcare background and/or related practical experience
- French language is an asset
