The role involves assessing needs, developing intervention plans, connecting clients with resources, and advocating for their well-being. **Position Details**

**-Supervisor**:Gurbeen Bhasin
- **Wages**:$25 to $27 per hour
- **Hours per week**:30 hours
- **Working Hours**:Monday to Friday 10:00AM-4:00PM (flex hours available)
- **Location**:201 Cowan Avenue, Toronto
- **Employment status**:Full-time permanent (Lieu-Time structure)

**Responsibilities**
- Assessing cases and compiling case reports containing relevant information.
- Ensuring that case reports are kept up to date.
- Providing support, guidance, and counsel to participants in our 3 programs: Chance for Change program

(supported employment program for those with barriers to employment), our Families In Need program
(supporting families in the community with crisis management and short-term supports), and our Share The Love program (working with sister agencies for exchanges of ideas, support, and donations/goods).
- Providing wrap-around services to all participants in the Chance For Change program and the Families In Need program.
- Making referrals or introductions to other agencies.
- Scheduling and escorting individuals to appointments with legal aid workers, counselors, doctors, etc., as needed.
- Motivating individuals to participate in rehabilitation programs.
- Reporting abuse as per industry standards and reporting practices.

**Requirements**:

- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree or equivalent related experience.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in the field.
- Knowledge of food security and housing issues within Toronto.
- Must operate from an anti-oppression lens and be familiar with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and social justice frameworks.
- Familiarity with crisis-intervention methodologies.
- Proven coordination skills to connect individuals/families with relevant services.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
