The Vice President, Information Technology for Marmon Crane Services will develop and execute best-in-class strategies for IT systems and services for an established crane business with 4 operating companies and over 1600 employees.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assess current IT strategy and design an IT organization that supports our businesses’ strategic direction and technology simplification efforts.
- Drive IT simplification/standardization across 4 businesses.
- Rationalize and optimize software, hardware and subscription solutions to reduce variability across the businesses in the group.
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Manage and champion Cybersecurity and align strategies with Marmon policies.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand opportunities for IT to enable business operations, maximize revenue streams and improve profitability.
- Work with the business to develop a unified data strategy and data management strategy.
- Build effective relationships across the business and oversee the preparation of business cases to support proposed IT initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality delivery of IT services
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with strategic priorities including overseeing procurement of technology solutions and negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Be a hands-on IT leader to ensure activities and projects are managed effectively, accurately and completed on time.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong technical foundation to include a bachelor’s degree, ideally in computer science
- MBA and/or advanced technical degree, and/or PMP certifications are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 plus years of IT leadership experience.
- Prior experience leading a significant technology group in a large corporation.
- Proven track record in developing the IT strategy and roadmap linked to business objectives.
- Prior exposure to project planning, execution, and organization change-management efforts to successfully complete a complex ERP conversion is critical.
- Significant project management experience highlighting an ability to plan and execute multiple complex IT projects against project plans, budgets and timelines.

**Business**Experience**
- Experience working in the construction/equipment rental industry is preferred.
- Prior experience in a transformational environment is highly preferred.
- A demonstrated passion, energy and drive to understand requirements in a complex services environment will be important.
- Demonstrated experience leading functional teams of professionals of varying disciplines and experience.
- Experience leading effective cybersecurity strategies, including implementing best practices and ensuring full compliance with corporate head office cybersecurity mandates/policies.
