**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of nursing home, assisted living, or home care procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with dementia care is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification and or CPR Certificate (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Grand Bend, ON (required)
