Ocean Capital Holdings Limited is interested in a second
- or third-year student interested in marketing, communications or a comparable field to work with our team in Saint John. This position will provide a great opportunity to be a part of an experienced team and gain exposure to a variety of marketing projects and community engagement activities in a corporate office.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the planning and execution of events and community engagement activities
- Providing support with the production of an internal newsletter and its distribution
- Developing and posting Social Media content, designing the visuals and messages to align with the corporate strategy, as well as tracking and monitoring activities for quality and effectiveness
- Assisting with regular reporting and marketing analytics
- Supporting other day-to-day marketing and communication initiatives
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks being managed concurrently
- Innovative with strong writing skills, who is experienced in Social Media and content development
- Data collection and analysis
- Proactive approach to managing work activities independently
- Strong commitment to personal learning and development

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Second
- or third-year student, currently enrolled in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations programs, Journalism or related fields
- Advanced analytical and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
- Experience in photography, taking videos and/or graphic design would be an asset

**Other required skills**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of activities
- Creative thinker and problem-solver
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation and ability to manage time based on priorities and deadlines
