**Overview**:
We are seeking reliable and customer-oriented Deli Clerks to join our team. As a Deli Clerk at Red Barn Market, you’ll be an integral part of our deli team. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of deli items such as our famous sandwiches, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean deli area. **Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Stocking and Display**:Arrange and replenish deli case displays, ensuring items are well-presented, labelled, and rotated.
- **Food Preparation**:Prepare Sandwiches pizza, salads, hot food and more. Prepare and package deli products.
- **Sandwich Making**:Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and salads with precision and attention to detail.
- **Customer Interaction**:Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**:Keep the deli area clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and communicate restocking needs.
- **Compliance**:Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow recipes, and presentation standards.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Approachable, courteous, energetic and willing to help customers.
- **Physical Stamina**:Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team Player**: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
- **Availability**: Flexible schedule, including daytime, mornings, evenings, weekdays, or weekends

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
