**Responsibilities**

Develop training modules, lesson plans and materials including but not limited to First Aid/CPR, Use of Force Training etc.

Develop testing strategies for students in all training modules and ensure they are administered in a way that demonstrates knowledge and skill from the learning.

Complete the 40 Hours Ontario Security Guard Ministry training to the students. Separate course modules in order to facilitate individual training sessions as required.

Develop training material feedback and instructor evaluation for students to complete and document.

Develop a training strategy that blends the in class with the remote learning options.

Drive implementation of Learning Management Software to enhance remote learning options and provide staff self directed learning opportunities.

Attend the college or online seminars to provide individualized of group training.

Coordinate with all the teams in the college to ensure proper execution of security guard license training program from a protocol and training perspective section.

Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s license with mínimal infractions.

Must have a clean criminal background

A proven background of 3 years experience in a security leadership role.

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

Obtain and maintain **Trainer** certifications that are pertinent to the Pures College of Technology (examples: Use of Force, Valid Security License, Valid First Aid / CPR Certification, & WHMIS Certification etc)

Experience with presenting information to both small and large groups.

Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, influence others, and meet deadlines. Must have own laptop and communications technology.
