StandardAero is looking for a summer student who is working toward a future supply chain career.

The summer experience requires the students to demonstrate a high degree of teamwork, inter-personal communication, initiative, and problem-solving. This summer student role will provide a student with an opportunity to: contribute to a project that positively impacts the business unit; receive authentic industry experience; and work in a collaborative, clean and safe work environment.

**Essential Job Functions** for students may include one or many of the following:

- Facilitate and track transition of inventory from the US to Canada.
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing inventory and tooling for new engine line implementation.
- Source, communicate and follow-up with local and international sub-contract vendors.
- Learn and participate in various supply chain processes including purchasing, sub-contract vendor management and warehousing,
- Other projects as assigned.

**Basic Qualifications** include:

- 3rd or 4th year student in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain.
- Effective organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency in a MS Office environment.

**Desired Characteristics **include**:
- Strong relationship-building abilities.
- Strong desire to learn.
- Excellent planning and tracking abilities.
- Experience of technical and/or mechanical systems is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment is an asset, but not a requirement.
