We are looking for a driven individual to work within our Supply Chain team across our various business units.This opportunity will allow a student to develop and showcase their skills in project management, process and value stream mapping (VSM), problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.What you’ll doOver the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity:Work with the Manager, Supply Chain Business UnitHands on work detailing and documenting the various functions of the supply chainAnalysis of the transaction processing performed, and data entry requirementsAnalysis of process differences between business unitsRecommend process improvements and countermeasures, short term and long term (future state)What skills you’ll needBetween 2nd and 4th year studentMS Suite proficientGood team player and communication skillsExperience working in supply chain/warehousingAble to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, crouch, crawl and/or climb for prolonged periodsPreferred QualificationsStrong planning, organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of access, excel, outlookAttention to detailsExperience working in a team environment, process improvement methodology/six sigma and process mappingThorough knowledge of inventory control systems, purchasing and production management1+ years of experience in an inventory or manufacturing environmentRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
