We are currently seeking a reliable individual to join our team in the role of**:General Laborer - Laser area**

Duties include, but are not limited to

  • Assist laser operator(s) with the sorting of material and parts;
  • loading and unloading of the machine;
  • grinding excess metal from products using hand tools;
  • Transporting raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment;
  • Ensuring the machine and immediate work areas are kept clean and clear of clutter;
  • Read and interpret work orders and/or blueprints;
  • Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience in a similar position would be an asset
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing / production environment
  • Ability to use computers (basic skills) to complete / update order system and paperwork
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team in a fact paced environment
  • Reliable and able to work on a 4 - ten hour shift schedule
  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Steel-toe safety boots
