**Job Overview**
Newcastle Physiotherapy and Sports Rehab is one of the most established and well known physiotherapy practices in the growing community of Newcastle. We are seeking a reliable, energetic and well organized individual to oversee and coordinate the administrative office procedures at our clinic as well as carry out these administrative tasks. The Office Manager will be instrumental in creating a productive work environment and ensuring the smooth functioning of office operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily office activities and manage front desk operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and document management.
- greeting and scheduling of clients using our EMR system (Clinicmaster).
- Phone duties.
- Billing and payment procedures via our EMR and through various billing portals.
- Supervision of office assistant(s).
- Support team management by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations for staff members.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in an administrative role within a healthcare clinic or medical office is highly recommended.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and positive demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in filing and record keeping.
- Previous experience with insurance billing portals such as Provider Connect, Telus, Sunlife and Blue Cross is preferred.
- Experience in supervising teams and managing front desk operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-03-26
