- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting statements, financial position reports, and budgetary updates accurately and in a timely manner.
- Creating and maintaining an annual budget, business plan, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare ongoing GL and journal entries to manage cash, A/R, and A/R.
- Maintaining all records on company transactions, purchases, inventory, transfers, and assets.
- Providing ongoing coaching and mentoring of the Accounting Clerk.
- Documenting monthly bank reconciliations and processing deposits.
- Preparing accurate balance sheets, income statement sheets, reconciliations, and month-end/ year-end adjustments to support the month-end/year-end financial statements.
- Actively participating in management meetings, analyzing information pertaining to accounting, financial, and administration, advising of anomalies, and suggesting solutions.
- Manage all accounting operations, including Billing, Payroll, AR, and AP.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting package and quarterly reporting requirements.
- Complete and oversee full cycle accounting duties, including month-end reconciliations, journal entry posting and review, GST/PST fillings, and other tasks as required.
- Complete the annual budgeting process.
- Provide recommendations and implement new processes to ensure best practices.
- Ensure compliance with the internal control framework.
- Assist with other projects as required.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in an accounting role
- University degree in Business/Accounting
- Canadian professional accounting designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) or working towards a Canadian designation is considered an asset.
- Understanding of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
- Expert, in-depth knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Quickbooks Online
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for report writing and discussing financial positions.
- A passion for ongoing professional development and education
- Experience in providing relevant and constructive feedback and guidance to junior staff.
- Excellent level of communication and relationship-building skills to develop strong working partnerships with team members and management.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Ability to be efficient and effective while working independently and within a team.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.

Work Location: On-site (Regina and Saskatoon) and/or Hybrid
**Salary**: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
