The Training Coordinator is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating, evaluating, and conducting training and apprenticeship programs for both the Armstrong and Chilliwack Divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Communicating with stakeholders to identify training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals. Focus on improving standardized work training by building content for the Alchemy training system
- Evaluate existing production and quality learning needs, develop, and implement training based on priority
- Facilitate training activities as required in conjunction with respective supervisors
- Coordinate delivery in collaboration with internal employees and external providers, implement and evaluate training curriculum and materials that is engaging, and supports internal learning to improve efficiencies
- Systematically develops new training and monitors training effectiveness through appropriate analysis
- Adoption of Skill & Aptitude Assessments to improve recruitment and training outcomes for employees
- Creation of a scalable Operator Training program for implementation across existing and future production operations
- Maintain training records including an up to-date list of individual qualifications
- Must be aware of critical control points as they relate to product liability
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) while performing job duties and tasks
- Performs all other related tasks consistent with skills and experience, as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Experience training in a manufacturing/production environment considered an asset
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly developed written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intrinsic motivation to succeed and complete project tasks in a timely manner with little supervision
- Ability to present training materials in an engaging and effective manner
- Excellent computer skills (ability to use power point, etc. in the creation of training content)
- Experience developing training content required (Power Point, Video content, Pictures etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Programs to produce training program documentation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel monthly between Divisions
- Based out of the Okanagan or the Lower Mainland, TBD

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
