**Formula Solutions Inc**. is currently hiring for the role of NDI Level II in the Quality Department. Prior experience is necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) in Composite structures using NDT methods of inspection (specifically ultrasonic inspection, A-scan and C-scan)
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
- Design and create NDT reference standard for carbon fiber composite parts
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the NDT techniques
- Perform Gap analysis per NADCAP NDT requirements and obtain Nadcap certification for FSI and continuation of Nadcap certificate maintenance on an annual basis
- Organize and report test results.
- Perform specialized inspections.
- May instruct and supervise others.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

**Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- NDT level II certification (Ultrasonic Testing)
- Minimum 1 year of education in NDT Standards and Practices and specifically Ultrasonics from Canadian Institutes or Canadian recognized institutions.
- Holding CGSB Level II Certification in Ultrasonics is an Asset.
- Knowledge of typical NDT aerospace codes and standards, NADCAP
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing and machine shop practices is an asset
- Will be required to independently lift fixtures/tools up to 50lbs
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T and NDT specifications, specifically Ultrasonics
- Ability to quickly learn new skills

**Additional Requirements**
- Comfortable working with chemicals and other hazardous materials
- Ability to stand at a workstation for long periods of time

**Compensation**
- Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: $35.00-$41.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
