**PRODUCE CLERK**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**POSITION**: Full Time Produce Clerk
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Must be willing to follow company dress code
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment
- Able to lift weights up to 20 kilos
- Proven ability to carry out duties in a safe manner
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Set-up and maintenance of produce counter
- To assist with produce displays and demonstrations
- Write produce orders
- To maintain company standards for cleanliness, quality and freshness of both product and department
- To perform back room duties such as receiving, trimming and wrapping of merchandise
- To assist in providing direction and development for part-time employees of the produce department
- To respond to customer needs in a positive and friendly manner
