CNC Punch Press Operator

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
**Duties**:
- Operate and monitor CNC PUNCH PRESSmachine
- Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance
- Assemble parts using hand tools and equipment
- Perform quality checks on first off, compare to technical drawings and revisions. if okay sign off and label first off.
- Keeping accurate records of production quantities, machine settings, and maintenance performed.
- Monitoring the machining process through observation and by checking measurements and gauges to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Perform general maintenance as per maintenance procedures.
- Inspect tooling on a regular basis. If worn arrange for sharpening and/or tool replacements through the shop foreman
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Prepare tooling, well in advance of the next job thus minimizing downtime.
**Skills**:
- Experience with CNC PUNCH PRESS
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to use hand tools for assembly and fabrication
- Must have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and accuray in work habits
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
