**POSITION: 1.0 Term Recreation Worker**

**WAGE RATE**: **$20.09 - $23.291 per hour**

**SCHEDULE & HOURS**:

- **10 shifts per pay period**:

- **Days Monday - Friday, 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM**:

- **Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and special events as required**

**Job Qualifications**:

- A minimum of the Therapeutic Recreation Facilitator for Older Adults (RRC) or its equivalent.
- Capable of working directly with the elderly in the area of social/recreational programming
- Previous experience in a similar facility or program is desirable
- Be able to transport and transfer residents safely. Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 - 20 kg
- Possesses good physical and mental health, and good attendance to meet the requirements of the position
- Possess effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with the residents, residents’ families and members of the interdisciplinary team
- Ability to communicate in the Ukrainian language and knowledge of Ukrainian culture and spirituality is an asset
- Musical education and ability is an asset
- Basic computer skills and knowledgeable with the MDS/Care Path policy standards
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

**Salary**: $20.09-$23.29 per hour
