**Production Worker (Valve Assembly)**

The original title of this position is “Valve Assembly Technician”. The incumbent will be performing production duties in the Valve Sub-assembly in accordance with good manufacturing practice and established standard operating procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs assembly tasks associated with the manufacturing of a tissue heart valve prothesis.
- Assures equipment has been calibrated and is in acceptable working condition prior to use
- Maintains traceability and preservation of product in their possession
- Documents work accurately and completely in MES, Business System, forms or logbooks/daily production logs as applicable to the task
- Performs cleaning of critical manufacturing and gowning areas in accordance with prescribed procedures
- Handles chemicals as required after proper training
- Performs daily monitoring of equipment as required
- Performs all operations and utilizes equipment following written procedures
- Performs other duties as required

**Other Requirements**:

- High school education or equivalent required
- Ability to do repetitive detailed work within guidelines and maintain precise records
- Demonstrates the ability to perform hand-sewing tasks with extreme detail, accuracy and speed
- Must be capable of listening, reading and understanding procedures written in English
- Is open minded and accepts constructive criticism and feedback
- Good manual dexterity
- Normal vision or normal when corrected by glasses
- Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment with limited supervision
- Must have basic computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.65 per hour
