**Production Worker (Tissue Preparation)**

The original title of this position is “Tissue Preparation Technician”. The incumbent will be responsible for performing production duties in the Tissue Preparation areas in accordance with good manufacturing practice and established standard operating procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs manufacturing tasks associated with the preparation of the tissue used in the valve assembly step.
- Assures equipment has been calibrated and in acceptable working condition prior to use.
- Maintains traceability and preservation of product in their possession
- Documents work accurately and completely in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), BPCS Business System, forms or logbooks/daily production logs as applicable
- Performs cleaning of critical manufacturing and gowning areas in accordance with established procedures
- Handles chemicals as required after proper training
- Performs daily monitoring and cleaning of equipment as required
- Performs all operations and utilize equipment following written procedures.
- Performs other duties as required

**Other Requirements**:

- High school education or equivalent required
- Ability to do repetitive detailed work within guidelines and maintain precise records
- Must be capable of reading and understanding procedures written in English
- Must be capable of understanding and following verbal instructions given in English
- Is open minded and accepts constructive criticism and feedback
- Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment with limited supervision.
- Must have basic computer skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
