**About the Role**:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated **Health and Safety Officer** to join our team on a **part-time or Casual basis**. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented safety professional who is passionate about fostering a culture of safety in a construction settings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures in compliance with OH&S regulations.
- Conduct **internal and external audits**, site inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Lead toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and incident investigations.
- **Maintain and support COR compliance**; coordinate with external safety auditors.
- Prepare and submit reports including near-misses and incident documentation.
- Track and manage training records and certifications for workers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for on-site safety concerns.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience conducting **internal and external audits**.
- Active and current membership with the **Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA)**.
- **Minimum 2** of experience in construction, or similar industrial safety environments.
- Strong knowledge of **provincial OH&S legislation** and **COR standards**.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting/documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
