Overnight Cleaner

Rate of pay: $18

Position Overview:
We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek Banquet Facility as an Overnight Cleaner who is passionate about keeping our facility beautifully maintained and who holds themselves to superior standards while providing exceptional quality of service.

Job Requirements:

- Strong attention to details

- Works well in a team environment
- Work night shifts, weekdays, and weekends
- Well organized and manage time appropriately
- Able to work safely with various cleaning solution
- Must provide a recent police check

Equipment Operated/Used:

- Industrial vacuum & floor cleaners
- Ladders

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure all areas are cleaned properly before clients and guest arrive on site.
- Ensure proper care, movement, storage of all equipment after use.
- Perform cleaning duties on a continuous basis including but not limited to:

- Keep common corridors, pre-function space, and storage areas clean and unobstructed.- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Recommend proper maintenance and repair to management.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures and wear employer-specified protective equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications:

- 1 year of previous janitor/cleaning experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, manage time, and work well under pressure
- Must be able to bend, climb stairs and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skill, dependable, honest, and reliable
- Ability to follow and take direction from Supervisors/Managers

**Job Type**: Full time seasonal
- up to 40hrs depending on volume of business
