**Job Overview**

Must **be**availableevenings **wednesday-**Sundays **4pm until 12pm**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Shift Leader will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in the food service industry, and the ability to manage cash handling responsibilities effectively.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in cooking and preparing food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide training and support to new employees, fostering a positive work environment.
- Handle transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional events and improve service quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
