Job Summary:
We are seeking a Service Advisor / Warranty Administrator with strong organizational and customer service skills to join our team. This individual will act as a vital link between our customers and Auto Technicians, manage warranty claims, and ensure smooth operation within the service department. The role demands a professional who can efficiently handle office duties, maintain comprehensive records, and educate customers on vehicle maintenance and care.
**Responsibilities**:
- Appointment Scheduling: Proactively schedule service appointments for both internal and client vehicles, ensuring efficient workflow and timely servicing.
- Parts Ordering: Take charge of ordering the necessary parts and materials required for mechanics to carry out services, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Customer Service: Address client needs, offering knowledgeable advice and solutions, and ensuring a positive experience with every interaction.
- Estimate repair costs and timelines, taking into account materials, supplies, and labour.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally, whether in person or via phone.
- Develop precise repair estimates by evaluating vehicle problems and symptoms.
- Facilitate a smooth connection between customers and auto technicians.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle issues and resolutions.
- Efficiently process warranty claims, advocating for our customers. Track the status of claims and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure proper reimbursement.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a service adviser and/or warranty administrator.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical details.
- Strong commitment to delivering superior customer service.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with industry-specific software is advantageous.
- Analytical skills for interpreting technical terms for a non-technical audience.
- The patience and adaptability to work effectively with various customer personalities.
- Decisive and capable of making informed decisions quickly.

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
