**You must also possess**:
Strong housekeeping and social skills
The physical ability to undertake housekeeping duties (ability to clean for extended periods each shift), and to stand/walk/climb stairs
Physical strength for lifting, and for heavier cleaning such as vacuuming
Ability to travel on gravel roads in all road/weather conditions
Ability to assist with / prepare meals;
Willingness to provide planned and short notice coverage for staff members
Ability to participate in meetings, workshops and training for professional development
Ability to ensure the client's safety and comfort, which includes promoting the independence and mental well-being of the client in a respectful and compassionate manner
Ability to transport clients for appointments, shopping, etc.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, and professional boundaries
Excellent written and oral communication
A valid class 5 driver's license
A reliable vehicle and cell phone to use for work purposes
A clear police information check, and vulnerable sector check.

Although hours are not guaranteed, this casual position does require the applicant to be available to take on 4 clients and/or 12 hours per week when work is available.
