Junior Sales Representative

**Summary**

We are seeking a motivated **Junior Sales Representative** to join our dynamic team at Larry's Small Engines. In this role, you will play a key part in driving sales and providing outstanding service to our customers. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation as a premier dealership located just north of Orangeville, ON.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs by providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Primary point of contact for customers purchasing products - primarily power equipment and lawn and garden equipment products for this position with room to grow to different segments
- Proactive self-starter with confident professionalism to work the showroom floor and provide customers with the best possible purchasing experience.
- Know the ins and outs of power equipment/lawn and garden product promotions, product offerings, and how certain products compliment the customers’ needs.
- Be well versed current and new technology for power equipment/lawn and garden equipment; specifically Honda Power Equipment, Stihl, and Cub Cadet.
- Be well versed in product packages and accessories, etc.
- Build and establish strong customer relations to ensure repeat customers.
- Work with Service Department to ensure PDI of new units in a timely fashion.
- Work with Marketing Department to ensure seasonal products are being promoted.
- Engage with potential customers through various channels to promote our products and services.
- Maintain an organized sales floor and ensure that displays are well-stocked and appealing.
- Collaborate with senior sales staff to develop strategies for business growth.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have a commitment to growth and education, and continue to grow knowledge through online OEM training.
- Ability to obtain OEM sales certifications.
- Ability to work trade shows as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for powersports or lawn & garden equipment is highly desirable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
