Finance Operations Manager

**Position Summary**

You are a driving force and supporting pillar for the success of our Finance team. Help drive value by defining best practices, establishing/improving processes, leveraging systems and data for decision making and working cross functionally to ensure alignment throughout the organization. Acting as chief of staff to Finance leadership and their teams, you will be a key strategic advisor and implementer of initiatives. Help the teams solve complex problems around quote to cash, master data management, ERP optimization, budgeting/analysis, mergers/acquisitions and more.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Be a thought leader around best practices of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and other finance tools to aid financial reporting, planning and operations
- Increase productivity and enable scale by identifying and developing automated finance processes, including driving end to end requirements gathering, to documentation, to testing and implementation of changes
- Lead the implementation/integration of multiple instances of financial reporting systems to support our M&A growth strategy
- Ensure the success of our finance team members by providing documentation, driving best practices around reporting/processes and establishing prevent/detect controls to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting
- Lead initiatives around Master Data Management (MDM) of key datasets both within financial systems and integrated across other internal reporting systems
- Support reporting dashboards/metrics to provide visibility into health of key finance operating processes
- Support senior leaders and their teams by providing visibility, insights, action items, analysis and recommendations on key processes related to working capital, cash conversion cycles, inventory management and compliance

**Skills / Qualifications**
- 5 - 7+ years experience in progressive operations and financial systems roles
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation an asset but not required
- Progressive levels of leadership and experience in managing teams/projects either directly or cross functionally
- Experience working as a partner to senior leadership, thinking strategically and critically, while tailoring approach and messaging to different audiences
- Demonstrated track record of completing initiatives and demonstrating value and return to the organization
- Heavy experience with extracting high value from ERP/MRP/CRM tools (Netsuite, ADP, Salesforce)
- Materials planning and Netsuite MRP module experience a bonus
- Experience in a hybrid SaaS / Hardware environment
- Experience with financial systems integrations and master data management across an enterprise business
- Financial acumen and domain expertise in enterprise financial accounting practices
- Process improvement expert. Identifies process inefficiency, internal control gaps, implements improvements and measures the success and return on investment.
- Must be able to rally teams cross-functionally, driving collaboration and cohesion across the organization to accomplish a single goal
- Highly analytical, able to summarize large amounts of data from different sources into a cohesive message
- Results oriented and self driven
