**Position Details**:
**What You Will Do**
- Completing the new claim intake process for all lines of business (personal, commercial, and specialty) through telephone contact with Echelon members
- Verification and entry of full claim details into the appropriate claims operating system (Guidewire, ADAPT, and GIS/Passport)
- Corresponding with adjusters, vendor partners, and other departments within the company to ensure all necessary documents and claim information is accessible
- Manage the Customer Inquiry Queue to respond to customer and broker inquiries and complaints
- Organizing claim’s services
- authorizing and assigning services through Echelon vendor partners (rentals, appraisals, and tows) for newly created claims to ensure member satisfaction
- Monitoring of the Claims FNOL inbox for new claims notices submitted by Crawford after hours, brokers, third party adjusters, lawyers, and other industry service providers
- Tracking of new claims using provided tracking resources, to ensure valuable reporting data is available for all lines of business
- Documenting claim data accurately to support all data reporting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
**Who You Are**
- Post secondary education required
- CIP/FCIP Insurance Institute of Ontario
- Completed or In Progress
- Minimum 1 years of claims intake and customer service and administrative experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to support customers and broker partners to address concerns and diffuse challenging conversations
- Experience navigating and entering data across claims operating systems, such as, Guidewire
- Familiarity with phone queue and call handling procedures
- Multi-tasking with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
- Attentive to detail and catches errors in numbers, spelling, and punctuation in documents and written material
- Uses personal judgement and critical thinking to make decisions and offer solutions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
