Billing Specialist

We’re The Laundry Brothers—a growing startup in Greater Vancouver redefining what clean, reliable, high-quality laundry service looks like. We move fast, expect excellence, and care deeply about customer experience.

Right now, we’re looking for someone special to join our team part-time—**every Friday and Saturday from 10AM to 6PM**—to help us with two of the most important tasks in the company:

- **Following up on overdue invoices and staying on top of billing**, and
- **Providing professional, friendly support to our customers over the phone.**

Yes, you’ll be doing both at the same time—so if you’re someone who can juggle calls while organizing your billing tracker and politely chase payments without breaking a sweat, keep reading.

**Here’s What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Answering inbound customer phone calls during your shift
- Keeping billing records updated and accurate in our systems
- Logging notes and communications in HubSpot and CleanCloud
- Creating simple reports to track collection progress and flag issues
- Being the calm, professional voice that keeps customers happy—and accountable

**You’ll Be a Great Fit If**:

- You love follow-ups and don’t shy away from reminding people to pay
- You’re confident on the phone and can handle pressure with grace
- You’re organized, reliable, and good at keeping tabs on moving parts
- You’ve worked in **billing, collections, customer service, or AR roles**:

- You’re comfortable using tech—especially spreadsheets, CRMs, or payment tools
- You enjoy structure, responsibility, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks

**Hours & Pay**
- **Fridays & Saturdays: 10AM - 6PM (8-hour shifts)**:

- **$18/hour**:

- You must be online and responsive during the full shift

**This Role Isn’t for You If**:

- You get flustered handling phone calls and admin tasks at the same time
- You avoid awkward conversations or feel uncomfortable asking people to pay
- You need constant supervision to stay on task
- You’re unavailable on **Fridays and Saturdays**

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maple Ridge, BC V2X 3J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
