Are you passionate about developing talent and culture while evaluating ways to influence the larger brand experience? In this role you will foster an innovative environment that intentionally accelerates brand loyalty with an aligned vision for employee and customer engagement throughout the Vermeer Canada organization. We’re looking for an energetic and creative professional to lead the overall brand experience with a focus on talent branding and acquisition, team member experience and corporate communications strategies. This brand ambassador must be able to communicate effectively and resourcefully drive impactful experiences throughout the team member journey. In addition to traditional human resource functions, you will be responsible for leading recruiting efforts, creating onboarding and development plans for Vermeer Canada team members, and maintaining engagement throughout employment. You will also oversee and work closely with the Marketing Specialist to drive a consistent brand experience.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and lead the employee experience vision and drive alignment with the organization’s customer experience vision.
- Build a detailed understanding of workforce government policies, labour laws, interviewing requirements and funding opportunities.
- Support the organization by coaching through situations and acting as a trusted human resources partner by assisting with interviewing strategies, team member evaluations and management training opportunities.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate an employee engagement program that delivers on touchpoints throughout the employee journey, such as onboarding, training and career-pathing to a defined organizational structure.
- Proactively engage in community involvement, local education opportunities and national workforce organizations
- Oversee organizational communication to inform, educate and engage team members and act as a resource for public relations

**What we’re looking for**
- Five or more years of experience in human resources leadership
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field is considered an asset.
- CPHR designation is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong understanding of national and provincial laws related to Human Resources.

**Travel**

Moderate to significant travel is expected of this position.
