**Job Summary**:You will be part of our Floor Staff team of nurses and MAs. This posting is for a Part-Time position, offering 16-24 hours per week with the potential for more hours to cover vacation, sick time, surge needs, etc. This job is a maternity leave position. It is currently available until January 2027 with the possibility of being extended for an additional 6 or more months.

**Key Responsibilities as an MA include**:

- Assign exam rooms and assist patient’s to exam room
- Takes vitals and works patient up for their appointment
- Does strep test, dips urine, etc.
- Administers flu shots, does ear flushes
- Assist in procedures with Provider when necessary
- Stocks all exam rooms
- Orders supplies, communicates when needed
- Sets up sterile procedure packs with appropriate set up for the different procedures done in the office
- Cleans, sterilizes instruments
- Maintains the sterilization unit and records maintenance
- Maintains the flow on the floor making sure the needs of the Providers are being met without having to be directed
- Have the ability to problem solve as the need arises
- Performs many other duties as required by the office.

**Required Skills**:

- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a busy medical office setting.
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment and have very strong computer and communication skills
- Must have medical terminology with strong written and oral skills
- Must be a self starter, very motivated and very focused with the task on hand.
- Attention to detail is a must and able to take direction if needed.
- Be a team player and very flexible.
- Should have a current CPR certification and able to show proof of.
- YOU **MUST** BE UP TO DATE ON ALL VACCINATIONS

**Start Date: As Soon As Possible**

**Salary Range: $20+/hr**
