**Job description**
A pharmacy assistant or pharmacy technician will assist pharmacists with their daily duties. They will have knowledge of how a pharmacy works and will assist with making it run smoothly and efficiently. A pharmacy assistant will answer telephone calls, manage the cash register and restock medications. By taking care of customers, the pharmacy assistant allows the pharmacist to concentrate on preparing medications and answering medical questions.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in maintaining inventories of medication and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure the prescription records have accurate information and enter client information in the database.
- Create an oral compound solution, ointments and creams as per the pharmacist’s instructions.
- Bill insurance companies.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
**Experience**:
- Kroll: 2 years (required)
- pharmacy: 2 years (required)
- Compounding: 1 year (required)
- Kroll Paperless: 2 years (required)
