Pharmacy in Milton is looking for a pharmacy assistant to join the team.
**Registered Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Assist pharmacist to process prescriptions
- Greet customers and answer basic questions
- Be familiar with stocked medications
- Input customer and prescription information into the computer system
- Type and print out prescription labels
- Help gather and bag prescriptions and deliver to customers
- Answer phones in a professional manner
- Take and track inventory, restocking when needed
- Assist in organizing and shelving medicine
- Accept and process deliveries
- Frequently clean and organize the workspace
- Assist with billing needs
- Perform various administrative duties as needed (filing, copying forms, till counting, etc.)
- Manage cash register and complete transactions
- Verifying prescriptions
**Knowledge of Kroll an asset
**Compounding experience an asset
**Registered Pharmacy Technician an asset**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)
Work Location: In person
