**The role**
**The responsibilities**
**Policy Analysis** and Development**
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of existing policies and emerging trends.
- Develop and recommend policies that align with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
**Strategic Partnerships**
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop partnership proposals and strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership effectiveness, providing insights for improvement.
**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather input on policy initiatives and partnership opportunities.
- Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and forums to promote dialogue and collaboration.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners, ensuring alignment of objectives.
**Project Management**
- Lead cross-functional projects related to policy implementation and strategic initiatives.
- Develop project timelines, track progress, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Report on project outcomes and suggest adjustments as needed.
**The requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in policy analysis, strategic partnerships, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Knowledge of the government decision-making process or transportation policies and trends is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and experience in briefing senior executives.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with relevant software/tools is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bilingualism preferred.
