We operate two (2) adjoining hotel properties - Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel and Best Western Parkway Hotel, conveniently located at Highway 7 and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill. Accessible via YRT /VIVA transit, and Highways 7, 404 and 407.

We currently have an opportunity for a full time Reservations Agents to work with our Reservations team. This is a replacement position and is available immediately.

**Job Description**:
To handle, process and respond to reservations requests for both Best Western and Sheraton Parkway.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

- Data Entry
- Audit reservations from Central Reservations Office
- answering phones: for reservation questions, guest service questions, and appropriate transfers to other departments
- Create new reservations, modify and cancel existing reservations
- Update and compile reservation and revenue related reports for both Best Western and Sheraton Parkway
- Liaising with Sales/Catering and Front Office teams regarding group bookings/room blocks
- Audit future reservations from all internal and external sources
- Create group masters, enter rooming lists, Create corporate account profiles in Hotel’s computer system
- Back up/assist Front Desk as may be required

Other duties as may be assigned by the Reservations Manager, Director of Rooms Division and/or General Manager

Job Requirements:

- Must have previous hotel Front Desk experience
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and employees
- Must have a pleasant telephone voice
- Must have the ability to read and write English
- Must have organizational and problem solving skills
- Galaxy and/or Lightspeed training an asset
- Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
- Must be flexible with shift availability (hours of operation are 7:30am - 11:00pm, 7 days a week)
