We are currently looking for a **Backhoe Operator** to join our growing team Reporting directly to the Site Supervisors, The Backhoe Operator will be responsible for performing a variety of construction tasks using a backhoe. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Using a Backhoe to remove concrete curbs and sidewalks on roads and parking lots. - Bulk excavation and loading trucks for disposal - Fine and finished grading work - Following equipment maintenance schedule as required. - Performing a daily circle check on equipment and vehicles. - General labour duties such as preparing materials and clean up of site area. - Other duties as assigned by the Site Supervisors - Minimum 2 years experience operating a backhoe - Experience in the construction industry with a willingness to learn - Experience in concrete removal and/or road work is a requirement. - Ability to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment - A safety conscious demeanor and willingness to adhere to company safety policies, practices and procedures. - A positive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a team - Valid driver’s license **_Why join The Forest Group?_** - We offer a competitive compensation package with the potential for a performance-based bonus.
