Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in **renewable energy**, **data centers?**Hitachi Energy is looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our Ontario industry sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales Industry Eastern Region, Canada. This role is based in the **Greater Toronto Area, Ontario**.

**How you’ll make an impact**
- **Lead Generation**:Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
- **Sales Targets**:Achieve annual sales targets within the C&I segment, specifically in renewable energy and data center industries.
- **Customer Relationships**:Build and maintain strong relationships with named accounts and develop new customer accounts.
- **Sales Strategy**:Develop and implement sales plans and business development initiatives.
- **Customer Focus**:Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that meet their requirements.
- **Industry Knowledge**:Stay informed about industry dynamics and news to support sales efforts.
- **Data Management**:Ensure accuracy in the sales force database for pipeline management and forecasting.
- **Collaboration**:Work with business units to provide value-based solutions to customers.
- **Issue Resolution**:Address and resolve customer problems with deliveries, escalating as necessary.
- **Engagement**:Participate in conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

**Your background**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or information technology management.
- Experience: Technical sales background in a related industry with 10+ years of sales experience and a proven track record in sales growth.
- Skills: Strong account management and business development skills, excellent presentation and communication abilities, and the capacity to represent the company to senior executives and C-suite leaders.
- Attributes: Action-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks, and a continuous learner who can adapt to changing market conditions.
